Mad Toy Box Delivers with Hilliard Studio Method

In an effort to help expectant mothers stay fit during and after their pregnancy, Hilliard Studio Method asked Mad Toy Box Creative to assist in a new DVD project! The DVD showcases Liz Hilliard and her expecting daughter, Clary Hilliard performing a 35 minute routine. The shoot took place in the brand new HSM fitness studio in Charlotte.


Saturday Brand and Mad Toy Box bring the Cabarrus County Fair Experience to Life

Working with Saturday Brand Communications, the Mad Toy Box Creative team provided production support and post production for the 2013 Cabarrus County Fair TV campaign.  The "Sleepy Car" concept shows a family who just enjoyed the fair experience and is ready for a quiet ride home. The spots begin airing September.

EMMY Nods for Mad Toy Box

Mad Toy Box Films’ 2011 TV campaign for Mac’s Speed Shop was honored with nominations in two categories for the 2012 Mid-South Regional Emmy Awards.
MTB worked with The Jewell Agency to create 4 spots in support of Mac’s award winning BBQ restaurants. 
Mad Toy Box and The Jewell Agency are nominated for Best campaign and MTB’s Chris Stevens is nominated for Best Director - Short Form.
“It’s always an honor to be considered for the Mid-South Emmy Awards. We are very proud of the work performed for the Mac’s campaign. We always strive to bring the highest quality to all of our productions and the nomination definitely supports the effort.”  said Chris Stevens, director and founder of Mad Toy Box. 
The awards will be announced in March 2012 at the Mid-South Regional Emmy Awards in Nashville, TN.

Mad Toy Box and Jewell Agency Drive Orleans Homebuilders

Mad Toy Box partnered with The Jewell Agency once again for a successful branding effort! In the course of 4 weeks MTB produced 30 videos for Orleans Homebuilders under the direction of The Jewell Agency in Charlotte. The videos shot in Charlotte, Richmond, Chicago, Philadelphia, New Jersey and Raleigh, showcased recent homeowners, realtors, and community managers in testimonial format describing their experiences with Orleans Homes. The campaign was part of an online branding project, Talk About Orleans. MTB also assisted in the design and creation of the Talk About Orleans youtube page. Beer, Bikes & BBQ Action


Working with The Jewell Agency based in Charlotte,  Mad Toy Box Films just wrapped production on a new TV campaign for Mac's Speed Shop.  Voted by many as the Best BBQ in Charlotte,  Mac's Speed Shop's South Blvd. location provided the backdrop for four commercials.  Director Chris Stevens is no stranger to the Speed Shop's rock-n-Roll atmosphere and he knew the location would provide great texture. "When you walk in, you see so many possibilities for great shots. Then we witnessed the diverse crowd at Mac's and quickly decided on concepts wrapped around the amazing food that attracts people from all walks of life." The spots are now in post-production and begin airing in mid-April in the greater Charlotte region promoting all three locations of the franchise.

Chris Stevens Directs National Toyota Tundra Commercial


Kicking 2011 off with a bang, Chris Stevens of Mad Toy Box directed Toyota's 2011 Tundra Commercial this January. Working with Marty Snider & Associates also of Charlotte and Saatchi & Saatchi, Chris acted as writer and director for the national spot. The piece features Joe Gibbs, Joey Logano and the Joe Gibbs Racing Motocross team in a "Trading Places" situation. The 2 day shoot was shot on location at Joe Gibbs Racing in North Carolina with Mad Toy Box providing production support along with MS&A.
